How To Prepare Plantain Puree

In preparing plantain puree recipe you start by cutting your ripe plantain into two almost equal half. You then peel the smaller part with a knife. Then you slice it into two halves and remove the black part that is in the center of the plantain. After this is done you then slice the plantain into small bits and boil with water. For better outcome you can use a rice cooker to boil.

After the plantain has boiled for 5 to 7 minutes, you can now take it out and allow it to cool for some minutes. When it is cold you can now put it in the food processor and if you don’t have a food processor, you can use a blender. You blend the plantain until it is smooth. If necessary you can add little water while blending to make it easy.

Once you are done with blending you put the plantain in a plate and add your egg yoks. Then you mix it together with the plantain paste using your fork. When it is mixed properly you then add your baby formula or breast milk and mix properly. Don’t add too much of the milk so your puree doesn’t become too watery.

After mixing all your ingredients properly you can now relax and serve your baby the delicious plate of plantain puree. You will be grad with how much your baby will enjoy this mixture. I would advice that you serve your baby a warm plate of this plantain puree.
